The Type 40AU is a laboratory-standard microphone which can be used, for example, in couplers, ear simulators, enclosures and at boundaries. It is an externally polarised pressure microphone with a large dynamic range and an extended frequency response. This microphone is capable of measuring sound pressure levels up to 160 dB re. 20µPa.
