Smart active distribution networks

This research activity involves voltage quality in active distribution network with distributed autonomous production and stochastic consumption, intelligent active distribution systems with distributed production cooperating within a smart optimization network with deterministic load of intelligent installations including accumulation. Research is focused on the methods of measurement and evaluation of the parameters of voltage quality and their in-time profiles along network and utilization of voltage quality parameters as an input parameter for smart networks control.

Attention is given to methods and technologies to secure compatibility in active distribution systems with prime focus on prevention methods such as increasing the resistance and decreasing emissions of connected production and consumption facilities and rules for connecting them, methods and technologies for decreasing transmission interferences.
